Science and chocolate

SECONDARY EDUCATION - 12-16 YEARS OLD

Chocolate is an element that allows linking educational knowledge from the scientific field. At the Chocolate Museum, we do this through an educational, practical, and fun workshop, playing with the changes of state and crystallization of chocolate.

Key curricular competencies: Competence in science, which involves understanding and explaining the natural and social environment, using a set of knowledge and methodologies, including observation and experimentation, to pose questions and draw conclusions based on evidence to interpret and transform the natural world and the social context.

The activity includes a free visit to the museum before or after the workshop.

The activity can be complemented with a guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition (supplement 5€ per student).
