A hands-on workshop in which students will recreate the original chocolate recipe used by the Mayans and Aztecs and compare it to the modern version. At the same time, the session will cover the introduction and spread of chocolate in Europe and the cultural changes it brought about.
The activity includes a tasting session. Please inform us of any food allergies at the time of booking.
The activity also includes free access to the museum, either before or after the workshop.
The workshop can be complemented with a guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition (additional €5 per student).

The museum is the setting for a team game with the history and process of chocolate making as the common thread. Once the visit is over, we use the chocolate to draw and create together.

Explanation of the cocoa tree, the manufacturing process, and the ingredients of chocolate and implementation through artistic expression and sensory experimentation with chocolate.
